The school is situated at 7500 feet above sea level admist the scenic splendour of Himalayan forets. The place has a beautiful climate and and occupies an important position for the tourists. Chail is 29 Kms from Kandaghat on Kalka-Shimla line and 85 kms from Kalka. One can easily reach there by narrow giage rail from Kalka to Kandaghat and from there by bus to Chail.
