Rashtriya Military School Admission Process
To get admission in Rashtriya Military Schools, students have to go through various processes like Form filling, appear in examination, qualifying written examination, appear in interview, pass through medical test and make list in merit list, medical verification and then you will be able to get admission in Military School.
Result for Written Part. Result will be hosted on NIELIT website with category wise cut off marks. All registered candidates can login to their accounts on NIELIT website to check their individual marks.
Interview. Those candidates who qualify in the written test will be short-listed according to Number of vacancies and will be called for the interview at one of the Rashtriya Military Schools. Marks of the interview will be added to the score of the written test before deciding the final merit. No Traveling or other allowance is admissible in connection with the journeys undertaken for the Common Entrance Test or the interview.
Final Result. Based upon the cumulative marks in written exam and interview, category wise final merit list will be prepared and hosted on NIELIT website. Candidates can use their login credentials to check their marks. No separate intimation will be sent to unsuccessful candidates.
Final Selection. Candidates selected in order of merit on the basis of total marks scored by them in the admission test and the interview will be admitted to different Rashtriya Military School based on availability of vacancies, medical fitness and as per the reservations norms laid down for various categories by Government of India. Qualified candidates will be allotted school purely on the basis of Merit and vacancy available in school.
Medical Fitness. All the candidates will be required to undergo medical fitness examination before admission to the Rashtriya Military Schools as per norms/criteria as specified in AFMSF -2 and only in the hospitals mentioned under to head “LIST OF HOSPITALS FOR CONDUCT OF MEDICAL TEST”. Candidate found medically unfit by the board of officers at listed hospitals will not be admitted. The candidates will also be required to remain medically fit during the course of their stay at Rashtriya Military School. The admission of the candidate will be provisional till Fitness certificate is received from the Hospital. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF MEDICAL EXAM CENTER WIIL BE ACCEPTED.
