CHS also known as Central Hindu School is a integral part of Banaras Hindu University, which is situated in holy city Varanasi. Central Hindu School was previosly known as Central Hindu College, which was founded by Dr. Annie Besant in 1898 in kamachha Varanasi. CHS itself has two branches one for boys and other for girls.Central Hindu School for boys is known as Central Hindu Boys School which in Kamachha Varanasi and for girls is Known as Central Hindu Girls School which is in Gurubagh Varanasi.Both these boys and girls schools are situated at a distance of less than 500 metres.

Chs entrance for class 9 is conducted successfully on 26th April 2023 on different exam centres in Varanasi. From last 3 years admission process in CHS is conducted through lottery process in class 9 due Covid19.But this year admission in CHS class 9 is going to held through entrance exam which is called as SET- School Entrance Test conducted by Banaras Hindu University to admission in Central Hindu Boys School and Central HIndu Girls School.

Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, these schools have a glorious history of providing excellent education in Arts, Commerce, Home Science, Science and Agriculture streams along with many sports and co-curricular activities to ensure all round personality development of both boys and girls. In addition, the schools provide NCC training to boys in he Army and Air Wings, to girls in the Army Wings.

Both schools have also the facilities of Computer Education. Hostel facility for meritorious students of Central Hindu Boys School is also available in the school campus itself

After releasing provisional answer key you can challenge any answer by registering on their official website. After that final answer key will be available on 25th May 2023.

For external candidates (coming through SET):
(i) 60% marks or equivalent grades and above in class X in aggregate for admission in Maths &
Biology Stream. Further 50% marks or equivalent grade and above is essential in each subject of
Maths and Science.
(ii) 55% marks or equivalent grades and above in class X in aggregate for Commerce Stream.
(iii) Class X passed for Arts stream.

SET Eligibility:

  • For Class 9th, students must be in an age range of 13-15 years (by 30 September 2023)I.e. date of birth is between 30.09.2008 to 30.09.2010 and have qualified class 8th examination from any certified school .

RESERVATIONS:
The following reservations will be given for admission against the seats available#
in various classes
after the admission of internal students:-

  • 15% seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates.
  • 7.5% seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
  • 27% seats are reserved for Other Backward Class- Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates.
  • 10% seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates.

  3. Click on Class 9 result option and proceed
  4. Fill you details registration number and password then login to your account
  5. Now you can see your result
  6. Click on the download option to download your result.
