CHS also known as Central Hindu School is a integral part of Banaras Hindu University, which is situated in holy city Varanasi. Central Hindu School was previosly known as Central Hindu College, which was founded by Dr. Annie Besant in 1898 in kamachha Varanasi. CHS itself has two branches one for boys and other for girls.Central Hindu School for boys is known as Central Hindu Boys School which in Kamachha Varanasi and for girls is Known as Central Hindu Girls School which is in Gurubagh Varanasi.Both these boys and girls schools are situated at a distance of less than 500 metres.

Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, these schools have a glorious history of providing excellent education in Arts, Commerce, Home Science, Science and Agriculture streams along with many sports and co-curricular activities to ensure all round personality development of both boys and girls. Both the schools have well equipped laboratories for providing skill based training in almost all practical subjects.

In addition, the schools provide NCC training to boys in the Armyand Air Wings, to girls in the Army Wings. Being an integral part of Banaras Hindu University, the students of the schools enjoy many facilities that are available to the university students in general. Both schools have also the facilities of Computer Education. Hostel facility for meritorious students of Central Hindu Boys School is also available in the school campus itself.

CHS entrance exam for class 9th and class 11th had completed successfully which was held from 26th April to 30th April in 42 different exam centres in varanasi. Total 57,075 students appeared in Central Hindu School entrance exam 2023 for boys and girls. While total registration for this year was 67,345.

CHS BHU ANSWER KEY 2023

CHS BHU entrance exam result for these classes will be released on 5th June 2023.Official Answer key for these classes will be released on official website of bhu on 10th of May 2023, you can challenge your answers on 11th and 12th May then final Answer key for chs bhu will be announced on 25th May, 2023.

CHS BHU COUNSELLING 2023

First counselling for class 9th will be held on 22 June, 2023.Chs counselling for class 11th will be held from 23 june, 2023 to 27 June, 2023 according to stream.Then counselling for paid seat will be done on 05th July, 2023.Paid seat facility is only available in boys school for class 11th students only. Ehile counselling for waiting list will be held from 01 July to 04 July if seats are availale after first round of counselling.

CHS counselling for boys is organised in Sarga hall of Central Hindu Boys School , Kamachha Varanasi. While counselling for girls is organiesd in Central Hindu Girls School.

THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF AVAILABLE SEATS
 CHBS: Class IX –100, XI Maths Stream– 38+50*, XI Biology Stream– 25, XI Arts Stream–
12 and XI Commerce Stream– 12.
 CHGS: Class IX – 06, XI Maths Stream– 17, XI Biology Stream – 16, XI Arts Stream – 40
and XI Commerce Stream– 25.

Cut off marks for class 9th and class 11th stream wise will be announced after the declaration of result for each classes.After that students have to appear in CHS counselling for their admission in Central Hindu Boys School and central Hindu Girls School.Students will not get any call letter for coming in CHS counselling, they have to regularly visit bhu official website to know about cut off marks then students have to appear in chs counselling according to their marks.
