CHS Entrance Exam 2024 Class 9

CHS Entrance Exam 2024 for class 9 that is SET (School Entrance Test ) for admission in Central Hindu Schools is always held in the month of April in Varanasi. Students who are willing to take admission in CHS BHU can apply online from the official website of BHU to get appear in the examination. Students who are currently studying in class 8th can apply for the entrance exam of class 9. After qualifying the examination, they will take admission in class 9th in Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School.

There are total 5 subjects are asked in the CHS class 9th SET examination which are Hindi, English, Science, Social Science and Mathematics. Total 100 questions are asked from these subjects of 300 marks and each question carry 3 marks and there is no any negative marking in the examination.

Here i will tell you every steps about how to prepare for CHS Entrance Exam, as i had already cracked the chs entrance exam by 91 % and had studied in Central Hindu School-BHU, Varanasi.

Preparation of any examination needs a proper approach and dedication. Here is the general guide for How to Prepare for CHS Class 9 :

  1. Complete your Academic Syllabus : There are total 5 subjetcs are asked in the CHS Examination that are Hindi, English, Science, Social Science and Mathematics. First of all you have to complete your whole syllabus of class 8th because all the questions asked in the CHS Entrance Exam is totally based on the syllabus of class 8th. Most of the questions are asked from NCERT Books. You have to properly read your academic books especialy books of Social Science, Science, Hindi and English.
  2. Write the Notes : You should have to make the proper notes of Science and Social Science. Read the books and make a complete notes from the every chapter of Science and Social Science as in these subjetcs most of the questions asked from the chapters. In science important processes and definitions are asked from the chapters and in Social Science important dates, places, stories, about revolutions, wars etc are asked.
  3. Learn about writers and poets from NCERT : Approx 3 to 4 questions in Hindi and English is about the poets and writers. You have to learn the name of chapters and their writers and poem and their poets only from NCERT Book of class 8th in both Hindi and English.
  4. Practice Mathematics : As there are vast questions in Mathematics, you have to properly practice the questions from a well recognised book of Mathematics like R D Sharma of Class 8th.
  5. Solve and Analyse Previous Year Question Papers : The most important step in the preparation is to solve the previous year questions and analyse the level of questions. First of all you have to solve the previous year paper and find out the topics that you had not learn and then learn about that specific topics and by solving the papers analyse the type of questions asked in the examination and do your preparation according to the paper. And sometimes many questions from the previous year are aksed in the examination.
  6. Learn Vocabulary and General Knowledge : Daily learn some vocabulary and General Knowledge Questions.
