PASSING MARKS FOR ADMISSION In Sainik Schools
For Admission to Sainik Schools:
A candidate is eligible for admission to the Sainik Schools, if he/ she secures a minimum of
25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE 2024. However, admission will be based on e-counselling as per the merit list of AISSEE – 2024, medical fitness and verification of requisite documents.
However, no minimum marks are prescribed for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category. They will be admitted on the basis of inter-se merit at the Entrance Examination within their respective categories, subject to their meeting the eligibility requirements, medical fitness and verification of requisite documents.
In case an SC/ST/OBC(NCL) category candidate comes in the general merit on his/her own, he or she would be admitted against general seat and will not be adjusted against the reserved share of SC/ST/OBC(NCL) seats.
For Admission to approved New Sainik schools:
A candidate is eligible for admission to the approved New Sainik Schools, if he/ she secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the
subjects of AISSEE 2024. This criteria is applicable to all candidates who wish to seek
admission to approved New Sainik Schools including SC/ST candidates. Criteria of
domicile/category are not applicable for admission to approved New Sainik Schools
How to check Sainik School Result 2024
- Step 01 – visit the official website of NTA for Sainik School that is exams.nta.ac.in
- Step 02 – Click on the Sainik School result Class 6 and 9 and proceed.
- Step 03 – On the screen, a login window will display, click on it and proceed.
- Step 04 – Enter your application Number and password to login
- Step 05 – And then you can see your result on your Id.
Sainik School Result 2024
Sainik School Result 2024 will be released within 06 weeks after the examination on the official website of NTA for students of class 6th and class 9th. About Sainik Schools
There are many Sainik Schools which are located in various parts of India and is run by an autonomous organisation that is Sainik Schools Society (SSS) which comes under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. All the Sainik Schools in India are in English medium residential schools affiliated to Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE). Sainik Schools prepare students to join the National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla (Pune), Indian Naval Academy and other training Academics for defence. There are total 33 Sainik Schools in India.
There are also few Sainik Schools which are operated in partnership with NGOs/private schools / State government which are approved by Ministry of Defence. These new approved Sainik Schools are functions under Sainik School Society. These new Sainik Schools offer admission to the Sainik School in class 6th through AISSEE 2023.
