All India Sainik School Entrance Examination 2024 was held on 28 January 2024(Sunday) for students of class 6 and class 9 in offline pen and paper mode at different examination centres. Students who will pass the Sainik School entrance exam of class 6 and class 9 can get admission in Sainik Schools for their further education but before getting final selection in Sainik Schools, students have to go through e-counselling for admission in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools. After getting selected in written examination which was held on 28th January, students have to go for their e-counselling as instructed by Sainik School Society.

Qualifying Criteria for Students in Sainik Schools

To qualify for the Sainik School Examination, students belonging to the General, OBC (NCL), and Defence/ Ex-Servicemen category must have to secure minimum marks of 25% marks in each subject and 40% total marks. For those belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe, the minimum qualifying marks criteria will not be applicable.

Those who have qualified for the exam will have to register themselves for the next selection process that is e-counselling.
