About CHS

Central Hindu School which is popularly known as CHS is a Senior Secondery School in Varanasi run by Banaras Hindu University. CHS was previously known as CHC ( Central Hindu College) as it was founded in 1998 by Dr. Annie Besant at that time this school was a College but after the inaugration of Banaras Hindu University Dr. Annie besant handed that college to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya who was the founder of Banaras Hindu University. Afterthat Central Hindu college was converted into school which provides education from class 6th to class 12th.

There are two branches of CHS one for boys and one for girls that is Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School. To get admision in these schools you have to appear in a entrance examination organised by BHU.

Chs Form 2025 Class 9

Chs Form 2025 Class 9 will be released in February 2025 and is opened for one month. You will get one month time to fill Chs Form 2025 Class 9. In the last week of March from , you have to correct your errors in the application form of CHS and then after the complete process of Application form, you will recieve your admit to appear in school entrance test and in the end of April BHU conducts CHS SET Examination every year for class 9. After qualifying this examination students can get admission in Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School.

CHS Entrance Exam Class 9 Pattern 2025

  1. The entrance exam will be arranged in offline mode.
  2. Exams centres are located only in Varanasi.
  3. Total 100 questions of MCQS.
  4. Questions in class 9 will be asked from class 8th full syllabus of every subject.
  5. Total Marks 300 that is each question carry 3 marks.
  6. Only ball pens are allowed in the examination to fill OMR.
  7. The question paper will include MCQ-type questions and answer on OMR sheet
  8. Applicants have to circle on the booklet no., roll no. And set no.
  • Eligibility to appear in CHS class 9 Examination : For Class 9th, students must be in an age range of 13-15 years (by September 2025) and have qualified class 8th examination from any certified education.

How to get admission in CHS Class 9

To get admission in CHS class 9 students have to appear in school entrance test organised by BHU for admission in Central Hindu Boys School and Central Hindu Girls School every year in the month of April but before appearing in this entrance examination students have to fill the application form for CHS SET examination on the official website of BHU that is bhuonline.in.

After qualifying the SET examination students have to appear in a counselling session which is organised in Central Hindu Boys School for boys and in Central HIndu Girls School for Grils.
